​Mr. Simpson is a Development Officer for Gateway Development Corporation where he assists with all aspects of the development activities. His responsibilities include assisting with submitting applications for funding new projects, coordinating with contractors and lenders on monthly construction pay applications, and coordinating with city and state agencies for new projects. Gateway is currently developing apartment communities in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. The goals for expansion are the states of Kentucky, Louisiana, South Carolina, Texas and Oklahoma.

Mr. Simpson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Accounting from the University of North Alabama. Mr. Simpson is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) for Low Income Housing Tax Credits.
