INVESTING IN GROWTH

Gateway Management Company currently manages over 18,000 multifamily housing units across 10 states in the Southeastern United States. In 2009, Gateway made the strategic decision to leverage the scale of its owned portfolio by dedicating a significant investment in its infrastructure, through its personnel, software and administrative functions. By doing this, Gateway affirmed a long-term commitment to its portfolio, while enabling GMC to offer those very unique, valuable resources to its third-party clients.

LARGE-SCALE EXPERIENCE

Since then, GMC has utilized this infrastructure to attract, serve and maintain a variety of conventional and affordable housing clients. Many clients simply desire to outsource the expense and demands of management. In addition, many of our clients are large entities that are based outside of the Southeast and depend on Gateway to serve as a reliable associate in overseeing their investments.

Gateway Development Corporation was founded in the late 1980s, with a mission to provide a Gateway to quality, affordable housing for workforce clientele. As Gateway grew, it expanded its activities to cover the full spectrum of multifamily housing development and operational services. Today, The Gateway Companies, through its family of businesses, operate as an owner, developer, construction manager, property manager and asset manager for affordable, conventional and elderly multifamily housing communities throughout the Southeastern United States.
