Current Responsibilities

Patty Pitts serves as Regional Vice President for Gateway Management Company where she is responsible for all aspects of management, operations and supervision of Regional Property Managers throughout the Southeastern United States. She is directly responsible for income and expense control, maintenance of physical assets, supervision of management employees, risk control, adherence to company policy and procedures and overall standard management operations. She currently supervised seven Regional Property Managers who oversee nearly 72 property managers in total.


Relevant Experience

With more than 28 years of experience in the property management industry, Pitts has gained extensive knowledge and experience in marketing and management of all types of properties including; Luxury, Conventional, Tax Credit, Rural Development, Bond, HOME, Section 8, HUD 236 and other programs. Her experience also includes family, elderly, acquisition/rehab, and new construction in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Alabama. Prior to joining Gateway Management in 2011, Pitt’s management portfolio consisted of thirty-one communities; 3,100 units with eight Area Managers to assist in the day to day management of the communities. She brings Gateway Management the professional skills and a well-diversified background that will assure success to the owner portfolio and third-party fee management.



Pitts is a member with the following organizations: National Apartment Association, Institute of Real Estate Management, Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association and the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition. She holds the Institute of Real Estate Management designations of Certified Property manager (CPM) and the Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) certifications; the National Apartment Association designation of Certified Apartment Professional (CAPS); and the Florida Real Estate Commission designation of Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
